Our special interest and field of expertise in Phyto-Extracts is in their use to develop special insect repellent packaging for durable, organic and non-organic food. The innovative package is designed to integrate a food-based repellent in the laminate to provide a full protection from insect penetration until the food is consumed.

Phyto-extracts are not intended for directly treating food and are not pesticides. The possibility of using phyto-extracts that are naturally occurring plant substances as insect repellents and anti-feedants will substantially contribute to integrated pest management.

We have pursued this subject through research and development together with "Biopack" a Commercial Company in Israel, whose web-site provides relevant information on the practical applications of this innovative technology.
