"Food Technology International Consultancy" Ltd., or FTIC is a biotechnology and bio engineering food technologies oriented company. FTIC is a private dynamic entity for the development and marketing of advanced post harvest technologies, specializing in the preservation of dried fruits, edible nuts, spices and herbs, pulses, cereals, oil seeds, forage and recycled material.
In addition FTIC strives to explore the possibilities of utilizing marine products, as well as replacing existing storage technologies with alternative ones that are environmentally friendly, to increase food safety. FTIC focuses on the food industry including protein products, and post-harvest activities along the storage and marketing chain. FTIC is also currently studying possibilities to transform the ecological nuisances into valuable commodities.
FTIC has an international team of professionals well experienced in advanced novel technologies for the storage of durable agricultural products including sea-foods. Storage solutions include advanced electronic insect monitoring, proper aeration, chilling, control of temperature and humidity of the stored commodity, and where possible the use of modified atmospheres or hermetic storage for the safe storage of the products.
