Simcha Finkelman Ph.D.Simcha Finkelman Ph.D.

Simcha received his Ph.D. degree at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem at the Department of Animal Science, of the Faculty of Agriculture, the title of his thesis was "Diversity of transmission mechanisms as a means for survival of Apicomplexan parasites". Between 2000 and 2004 he was a research scientist at the Agricultural Research Organization in the Department of Food Technology. His major fields of activity, were in the search for alternatives to methyl bromide prior to the 2005 phase-out. Read more.

Shlomo Navarro Ph. D. Shlomo Navarro Ph. D.

Professor Navarro is a worldwide expert in the post harvest protection of durable commodities with specific emphasis on insect control and storage engineering technology. Professor Shlomo Navarro is the principal inventor of the current technologies being promoted by FTIC. Until his recent retirement he was a Principal Scientist in the Department of Food Science, Israel Agricultural Research Organization (ARO), Volcani Center, Bet Dagan. Read more.

Ph.D. in Animal Nutrition at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, 1985, the title of the thesis was "Chemical and Nutritive Changes During Fermentation of Wheat for Silage". Specializes in conservation technologies in the field of animal feed and by-products. Read more.

Ms. Hagit NavarroMs. Hagit Navarro

Graduate (B.Sc) School of sea and marine environment studies, Ruppin. Master's degree in the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Faculty of Management, University of Haifa, on the economic, environmental and biological aspects in developing technology of heat disinfestations on dates as a methyl bromide alternative.
